Reminder from the AA Preamble and YANA Bylaws:
A.A. is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or
institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses
nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help
other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
**Please refrain from these activities/discussions while on the premises**
YANA Bylaws SECTION 1. Suspension: “The Board of Directors shall have the authority, at its sole discretion, to deny membership and suspend any person, Member in good standing, or non-member from the Yana Foundation, Inc., building and its properties, whose conduct or actions are illegal or are deemed to be detrimental to the overall operation and the purpose of the Corporation as set forth in Article I, Section 1 of these Bylaws.”

YANA Annual Membership Meeting
Per the YANA
Bylaws the Annual Membership meeting is to be held at 1:00pm on
February 12, 2023 at YANA. The portion of the YANA Bylaws that
discusses the Annual Meeting and the meeting Agenda is on page two of
this Newsletter.

attendance may be represented and vote by a proxy appointed by a signed
notarized form obtained from, and returned to, the Secretary, prior to

President:
The new year is now well under way and
YANA is flourishing. We are financially
stable, holding meetings, engaging with
one another and helping others to
achieve sobriety and obtain serenity in
their lives. We are all here for similar
reasons and I hope that each of you is
finding what you need in the fellowships
of AA and Al-Anon here at YANA.

questions related to YANA Board
Policies, the building or behaviors of
individuals you can reach out to the VP
of the Board and give him/her an
opportunity to hear your issue/concern
and bring it to the Board for resolution.

AI-Anon:
The Al-Anon Family Groups are a
fellowship of relatives and friends of
alcoholics who share their experience,
strength and hope in order to solve their
common problem. We Believe that
alcoholism is a family illness and that
changed attitudes can aid in recovery. If
you care about someone who struggles
with alcoholism you are qualified for Al-
Anon.
